Hello, I'm Jazmin Medrano
I'm Mexican from California and have been living in Berlin, Germany since 2012. I consider myself to be a vibrant, warm-hearted, playful, inviting and creative woman. I had a career in the music business industry for 8 years while living in Los Angeles and Miami, until I had an epiphany (future blog article on that later) and decided to leave my life in the US, travel the world, and find another city to move to. Once I left the US, I traveled for 14 months and then moved to Berlin. That whole journey, which started with my epiphany, was the beginning of my spiritual awakening and personal development/healing journey, leading me to a personal development training in Berlin. That experience sparked my interest in coaching, and in 2014, I began my training. Coaching aside, I explored and have given space for my creative and artistic expression by cooking (and organizing pop-ups and wine & food tastings), being a performance artist, theater improviser, photographer, painter, TEDx speaker, dancer, hobby singer, DJ and music curator. Creative expression has been an integral part of my life.
Since 2015, I’ve been working as a coach in various capacities. And the thing that has always been constant in my approach to coaching is this: to support my clients in expressing their true selves and living in alignment with that. I support them in working through and transforming whatever is in the way of that. Whether it's for individual clients or executive clients. I’m here to invite you, guide you, and activate you to connect to yourself and express that in a way that your heart, mind and spirit want to.
I find that everyone's personality comes in through their style of coaching, and I am no different in that. What does this mean? As someone with a light-hearted disposition, who keeps it real, has multi-dimensional depth, has a profound well of empathy and compassion, and a free-spirited energy, you will likely experience this in our work together. I'm a believer that one of the most important things for a coaching relationship to work, is for the potential client to feel comfortable with the coach and feel a level of trust.
Aside from that, I do want to mention an important thing... as a coach, facilitator, or consultant, I don't want anything from you. This is something I learned early on in my profession as a coach. Wanting something from the client then makes it about me and not the client. I’m here to be in service to you, not me. My only intention is to give you the space and support/guide you in the best way that I can. It's always beautiful to see clients grow and evolve, yet it is not my business when that happens for the client. Every client has a different rhythm and different speed at which they 'get' things or work through things. I will not judge your process. Your pace is your pace and I will never force you into anything. Having said that, I do believe in feedback as a way to mirror back where you’re still holding onto old (patterns, beliefs, coping mechanisms) that hinder you from moving forward.
